4/9/2009 – NEW YORK – W Connection will host a Monday doubleheader with fellow Trinidadian club San Juan Jabloteh at Mannie Ramjohn Stadium in Marabella on Monday, the first legs of their second-round matches in the Caribbean Club Champions Cup.

Jabloteh, which received a bye into the second round, will play Inter Moengo Tapoe of Suriname in the opening game at 6:30 p.m., with W Connection hosting SA Cavaly of Haiti in the nightcap.

The remaining second-round series will begin a week later on April 20 with Greenbay Hoppers hosting Tempete FC. That day will also be the second legs of the other series, with Moengo Tapoe hosting Jablotech and Cavaly being home against W Connection.

Tempete will host the second leg of its series against Greenbay on May 1.

The second-round winners will advance to single-game semifinals May 15 at Marvin Lee Stadium in Macoya, Trinidad, with the third-place and championship match two days later at Marvin Lee.

Three teams will qualify from the CFU championship to next season’s CONCACAF Champions League.

Semifinal winners and the Puerto Rico Islanders will be drawn for single-game semifinals after the second round is complete. The semifinals will be played May 15 in Trinidad, which also will stage the final and third-place match two days later.
