Wilmington University soccer standout Sargbah Tarpeh signed a contract to play with the Puerto Rico Islanders of the United States Soccer Federation.
A National Soccer Coaches Association of America and NCAA Daktronics First Team All-American selection, Tarpeh, a senior forward, was named Central Atlantic Collegiate Conference, Eastern Collegiate Athletic Conference and NCAA Daktronics East Regional Player of the Year. He was a First Team All-Region selection, and a four-time First Team All-CACC award winner.
«I am very excited to start my professional playing career with the Puerto Rico Islanders,» said Tarpeh. «… I enjoyed my four years as a Wildcat, and I am thrilled to begin this new journey in my life.»
