JUNCOS, Puerto Rico – Sevilla FC Puerto Rico has travelled to face Antigua Barracuda FC for a pair of matches this week, the first coming on Thursday night at 7 p.m. at the Sticky Wicket Stadium, as it searches for its first victory in the 2011 USL PRO season.
Sevilla opened the season with a pair of draws against its Puerto Rican rivals River Plate Puerto Rico and Puerto Rico United before falling 3-0 to the Los Angeles Blues on Friday night. Coach Francisco Muñoz is hopeful, though, that the team will come back from its trip with a win.
Antigua also fell to the Los Angeles Blues in its opening game on Sunday, Tamarley Thomas scoring the goal for Barracuda FC. Sevilla is hoping the return of forward Eli Gordley from injury will help boost the attack, which has been led so far by Alain Gustave.
Sevilla and Antigua meet again on Saturday night at the Sticky Wicket Stadium at 7 p.m.
Sevilla Squad: David Sierra, Maximilliano Torlacoff, Ryan Roushandel, Joan Morales, Nicholas Cardenas, Erik Hort, Jordan Cameron, Stanley Guirand, Elliot Velez, Jose Batista, Alan Acevedo, Antonio Pacheco, Alain Gustave, Isaac Nieves, Juan Velez, Eli Gordley.
