Yeovil Town have announced that goalkeeper Richard Martin has had his contract cancelled by mutual consent.
The 23-year-old gloveman has joined North American Soccer League side Puerto Rico Islanders on a season long deal.
Richard enjoyed two spells with the Glovers after arriving at Huish Park from Manchester City having previously been at Brighton & Hove Albion.
He made five appearances last season before leaving and spending time with non-league sides Grays Athletic, Havant & Waterlooville and Crawley Town. He then returned just after Christmas but acted as an understudy to loan keeper Stephen Henderson without making an appearance.
The Islanders play in the Juan Ramon Loubriel Stadium, capacity of 12,500 and their head coach is former Northern Ireland international striker Colin Clarke.
Richard asked the official website to pass on his grateful thanks to all fans for their support during his time at Huish Park and in turn, everyone at Yeovil Town wishes the popular keeper every success in his new career.
