[USL-1] Despite playing to a pair of 0-0 ties at Rochester and Cleveland, the Puerto Rico Islanders remained in first place in the USL First Division.
The Islanders had a man advantage for the last 40 minutes against the Rhinos after Trinidadian Brent Sancho was ejected, but they couldn’t score. On Sunday night, Puerto Rico outshot Cleveland, 13-8, but couldn’t beat goalie Hunter Gilstrap. Portland (three games in hand) and Charleston (one game in hand) trail Puerto Rico by two points.
