Por primera vez, desde el comienzo de nuestro ranking, la hegemonía trinitense llegó a su fin. Con la conclusión de la temporada de Liga de Campeones para todos los clubes del Caribe, la primera vez que esto ocurre desde el 2008, los Trinitenses no aparecerán en los primeros 3 puestos de la lista del 2012, y solo San Juan Jabloteh permanece en los primeros 3 puestos del 2011.
Las federaciones de Guyana, Haití y Puerto Rico son las que más han sobresalido en el Caribe a nivel de clubes; Puerto Rico por primera vez tendrá 2 clubes en los primeros 5 en enero de 2011: Puerto Rico Islanders y Club Atlético River Plate Puerto Rico.
For the first time since the start of our ranking, the Trinidad and Tobago hegemony will come to an end. After the conclusion of the Champions League for all Caribbean Clubs, first time this happens since 2008, teams from Trinidad and Tobago will not appear in the top 3 spots of the rankings in 2012, and only San Juan Jabloteh remains in the top 3 spots in this year’s rankings.
